Job Opportunities - Field Service Technician

Our client, an industry leader in custom machinery automation, has an immediate job opening for a FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN. Some Travel Required (up to 50%).  This position will be either a contact or contract-to-hire position. 

Location: Greenville, South Carolina

Responsibilities:

-Install, program & repair FANUC robots or automated systems & related equipment, such as CNC’s, programmable controllers, robot controllers, end of arm tools, positioning systems, & part orientors/feeders.

-Apply knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, & programming.

-Clearly convey work scope and corrective actions to customer.
-Program robot or machine tool to perform specified tasks, applying knowledge of programming language.
-Troubleshoot system and correct malfunctions.
-Train customer's staff in operation of robot or machine tool and related equipment. -Install electric or pneumatic end-of-arm tools on robot or machine tool.
-Have working knowledge of and programming skills of robotic controllers as well as PLC’s and CNC controls.

Requirements: Training in and/or Experience commensurate with the above or like tasks is required by the candidate.
